The Boeing 777X seemingly cannot catch a break, as one of its biggest customers, Emirates, is looking to swap orders for the wide-body for its smaller cousin, the 787 Dreamliner. Emirates is the launch customer for the B777X programme, and has previously expressed frustration at delays with recent comments from Boeing indicating that it does not expect to deliver the first of its next-generation 777X aircraft until early-2021 at least six months later than originally planned.
